  1. Excellent post Lara and you’re so right that branding for your ideal customer is one of the best ways to develop an online presence that attracts the people you really want to work with…and efficiently, too!

    As your readers continue their marketing, too, they should continue to keep that ideal customer in mind, and do the activities that those customers are most likely to respond to. It’s so easy to get caught up in all the different marketing tactics out there – so create a plan that speaks directly to your target audience, and cut out the rest of the clutter!

  2. You make a great point, Jessica, about all the “clutter” of marketing. I was just talking with a woman who is a fairly new entrepreneur (in business for about a year) last weekend, and she was sharing just how overwhelmed she was at trying to be “on” and “active” across all the social platforms. Who wouldn’t be overwhelmed at the thought of having to be an expert across Google+, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, etc., on top of email marketing, networking and blogging? So I love your comment about just focusing on the marketing activities that your ideal customer is most likely to respond to.
